Sophie – 4 weeks old { Perth Baby Photographer } AIPP

Sibling shots are some of my favourite to capture. Meet baby Sophie and her 5 year old brother Cadel. Bring slightly older newborn I was preparing for her to make me work hard for her photos, but Sophie slept for her entire session, barely saw her eyes open so I was able to get through everything I needed. My favourite shot of her was laying down on her belly on the beanbag, we call it the ‘baker’ shot (because there are buns and rolls). We joked she runs her own bakery with the baby rolls hehe. Love her!!!

Thank you Renai and Andrew for such a memorable session, and congratulations on the birth of your beautiful princess Sophie. My time with her was so special to me, I will remember it always.

    Harvey – 7 days old

Harvey came to see me on his 7th day of life. His parents drove a long way to my studio to have him photographed in the sweetest setups so I had to make it special. I was so excited to finally meet him and when I saw him for the first time I melted! His long hair was GORGEOUS and so was everything else. He had the cutest facial expressions and even smiled for my camera.

Rachel and Chad, I want to take the time to thank you so much for everything. I loved watching you with Harvey and almost brought a tear to my eye how much he is loved. No doubt he will bring so much happiness in your lives. I feel so blessed that I got to photograph him.

      Sara – 6 days old

Introducing baby Sara with her big sister Ava. Sara looked like a real life baby doll, she was simply divine. I couldn’t get over all the baby rolls. I had so much fun dressing her up in cute outfits and headbands. She was such a great sleeper on the day, a true pleasure to photograph; I barely saw her eyes open. She was so new, her plastic belly clamp was still on but that didn’t stop me from being creative. At the end of the shoot we had family photos both in colour and black and white. One of them is a canvas which will be displayed proudly on the wall.

I am so grateful everyday that I get to do this as my job. Thank you Mel and Ryan for booking in with me and being so awesome on the day of the shoot. I hope you will enjoy the photos for many years to come.

        Carson – 8 days old

It was an honour to capture one of Carson’s first days of life. His mummy had some requested setups so I was able to have some of them ready the night before his session. His parents drove a long way to my studio. Carson was as sleepy as can be so I was able to change it up to have a large variation of images. He was so handsome, curly and squishy. The shooting space was warm and toasty so he was super happy and relaxed and happy. I loved him in the womb-like curly poses and detail shots.

Emma, I hope you had a wonderful experience and I want to say a big thank you for trusting me to photograph these memories.

If you are looking for a Perth newborn photographer, please contact me on 0417 949 199. Its never too early to book in.

Priti – 12 days old – Newborn posing and styling photography Perth

Priti came to have her first newborn portraits done at my studio. Her name means ‘love’ in the ancient Sanskrit language. When I first saw her I fell in love, the lips, the button nose, the hair – she had it all. Full of personality she was, and such a good baby. Her parents, Jon and Heidi asked for one of the images to be suitable for a birth announcement. They brought a few things such as a newspaper on the say she was born and some special headbands that were gifts from family. Her grandmother purchased the pink headband featured in her froggy pose. We finished off with family photos – I love doing these and capturing connection & emotion.

Best wishes Heidi and Jon on the safe arrival of baby Priti, I feel so blessed that I was even chosen to photograph her, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!
